Driving Ranges Listed By State
Driving ranges are dedicated areas where golfers are able to perfect their golf swing. Some driving ranges are standlone facilities while others are part of a golf course facility. Golfers buy large buckets of balls and hit them at their leisure. Some driving ranges employ golf professionals who give lessons and instruction. Golf balls are retrieved using a cart which has an attachment that automatically picks them up. The driver is protected from incoming golf balls by a cage. In Japan, where golf courses are overcrowded and expensive, driving ranges have become very popular.
